Alison Pullen has exhibited with Quantum Contemporary Art since 1999. She studied at the Norwich School of Art and then the Royal College of Art, graduating in 1993. She has been commissioned by the Royal Mail, the St Helier Opera House in Jersey, Transport for London and the Ionian Bank. She has also painted interiors of the Museum of London and several rooms inside the V & A. After completing a commission of the interior of the Throne Room in Buckingham Palace, Alison Pullen went on to become Artist in Residence at the National Trust’s Osterley Park House. She has also painted the interiors of the Bodleian Library and Christchurch Cathedral in Oxford, Peterhouse at Cambridge University and the Royal Hospital, the Guards Chapel, the Merchant Taylors Livery Company and Fulham Palace in London. Her interiors are achieved by painting onto the pages of magazines, often World of Interiors. The result is an image of the room which is dominant, but coexists with a foundation of photographs of totally different rooms beneath. Quantum exhibits her work at the major art fairs in London, New York, Brussels, Toronto, Palm Beach Florida, Amsterdam, Chicago, Hong Kong and Singapore.
