Stephen Earl Rogers’ clean, female figure against a vivid aquamarine field is charming, stylish and fresh.” Philip Hensher in The Mail on Sunday, commenting on the BP Portrait Prize. “Stephen Earl Rogers also does terrific faces. His profile is artfully observed and interestingly staged and offers the most interesting neck I have seen in a long time. Actually, come to think of it, it is full of interesting detail.” Norman Sanson in Art Review Prices for Stephen's portrait commissions start from £1500 for his smallest 6x4 ins single-figure painting.
