Growing up on Dartmoor surrounded by a menagerie of creatures, Sorrel has always had a great appreciation for the individual characters of animals. Spending most of her childhood around horses, she initially began as an equestrian photographer but later expanded this into pastel pencil and then oil portraits. Since her early teens she has endured (helpful!) artistic criticism from her mother, Jessica Brown, which contributed to the realistic style she embraces in her work today. Sorrel has been represented by Quantum since 2024 and is available for commissions.
