Nicholas Elliott

Nicholas Elliott has exhibited with Quantum since 2008. His paintings are the result of a rare dedication to painting that caused him to sell his home in London to live cheaply in India and Andalucia while he perfected his art. He says " When I am at work on a painting I am conscious that what I am actually painting is light. I am not painting the orange or the egg but how light is travelling over them and I render the subject through a series of abstract shapes." As well as exhibiting in India and Spain he had a succesful exhibition in Cork Street London W1 in May 2008. We have taken his work to fairs in London, Canada, New York, Cambridge, Glasgow and Brussels. He now lives and works in France.
