| Yasmin Seaman read law at Oxford and worked for a City law firm before embarking on an art career. She studied art at Cordwainers College and the University of Westminster. Her love of flowers translates into large canvasses of which she says " I seek to explore some issues about the conventions of painting itself, such as: realism vs abstraction, the tension between the illusion of depth and the two-dimensionality of the picture plane, and the notion of authorship. " |
