Nicholas Elliott

Nicholas Elliott has exhibited with Quantum since 2008. His paintings are the result of a rare dedication to painting that caused him to sell his home in London to live cheaply in India and Andalucia while he perfected his art. He says " When I am at work on a painting I am conscious that what I am actually painting is light. I am not painting the orange or the egg but how light is travelling over them and I render the subject through a series of abstract shapes." As well as exhibiting in India and Spain he had a succesful exhibition in Cork Street London W1 in May 2008. He now lives and works in a beautiful part of the Mendips hills.
