Jan is a New Zealander who studied art in London at the Camden Art School, St Martins College and the Royal College of Art and now lives in London. She has exhibited extensively since 1993 including with Marks and Spencer, lawyers Collyer Bristow, the Duncan Gallery and the Whitechapel Open. Commissions have been many and varied including animal drawings for the Border Control Office at the Ngoro Ngoro Crater in Tanzania, an interior for Joseph in Chelsea and two 640ft long images spanning the Thames at Hungerford Bridge.  We have exhibited her work in London, Amsterdam, Glasgow and New York. She held her hugely successful first solo show with Quantum Contemporary Art at the Westminister Boating Base in Pimlico in May 2002.Her second solo show was held in Cork Street, London W1, London's premier art street. Her third solo show with Quantum, back in Cork Street and sponsored by Africa charity Tusk, was in September 2006 and was a sell-out. We are holding a fourth solo show for Jan on 15-20th September 08 at 28 Cork Street, Mayfair, London W1. Art critic  AJ Tipping says of her African cheetah paintings " Against the silent metronome of evaporation, cracking, blistering, whitening the animals appeared as spectral flurries of speed and shimmering elegance...occasional explosions of life at its most intense were taking place."
