Harry Brioche was born in the Seychelles in 1965. His family moved to the UK in 1980. From an early age he was captivated by the drama and beauty of the atmospheric, ever-changing British sky and landscape which is in such contrast to the Seychelles of his youth. He says " My main objectives are to try and capture the atmosphere and ' spirit ' of a place. Ultimately it is the mood and light within the painting that become the central theme. " He has exhibited with Quantum in London, Jersey, Glasgow, New York and Toronto and his paintings are in collections all over the world.
