Gerry Dudgeon has exhibited with Quantum Contemporary Art since 1999. He was born in Darjeeling, India and received a BA ( Hons ) in Modern Languages at Cambridge University before attending the Camberwell School of Art. Lectures at the Roehampton Institute and Bournemouth College of Art. Has exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Summer Exhibitions, Vortex Gallery, Gordon Hepworth Gallery, Cadogan Gallery, Christies, the Groucho Club and the Kensington Art Fair. Work in collections of Leicestershire County Council, ILEA, Cadbury Schweppes and Slade School of Art. He says " My use of colour derives from Rajasthani fabric dyes, Indian minature paintings and the hazy golden light of the Thar desert with its yellow and dark red sandstone, and dusty green vegetation. " He has recently spent 3 months painting in North Africa, especially the Atlas Mountains.
