Completed her Fine Art degree at the Kent Institute of Art and Design in 1994. Her thickly applied oil paint portraits ( a technique known as impasto ) acknowledge the influence of de Koonig, Francis Bacon, Chaim Soutine and Lucien Freud. She has exhibited at Fresh Art in Islington, the Chelsea Art Fair and had a solo show entitled Envelope of Flesh in Lewes, Sussex. She is represented in the US by a gallery in Philadelphia and has had exhibitions there and in Miami.
