Alison Pullen

Alison Pullen has exhibited with Quantum Contemporary Art since 1999. She studied at the Norwich School of Art and then the Royal College of Art, graduating in 1993. She has been commissioned by the Royal Mail, the St Helier Opera House in Jersey, the Ionian Bank, the Museum of London and the V & A. After completing a commission for HM Queen Elizabeth II of the Throne Room in Buckingham Palace, Alison Pullen went on to become 'Artist in Residence' at the National Trust's Osterley Park House. She has also painted the interiors of the Bodleian Library and Christchurch Cathedral in Oxford and the Royal Hospital and Guards Chapel in London. Her interiors are achieved by painting onto magazine pages of interiors. The result is an image of the room which is dominant, but coexists with a foundation, the photographs of totally different rooms beneath. Quantum exhibits her work in at the major art fairs in London, and in Glasgow, New York, Brussels, Toronto, Palm Beach Florida, Jersey, Amsterdam, Chicago and Singapore.
